Hello, all readers of my Maggie's five post blog,
I assume I will not have a large audience, but I am still quite honored to be the focus of this blog. Although, now I think it should be renamed, "Le Fabuleux Destin de Eevee", non?
Onto introductions then.
Hello, my name is Eevee. I am Pokemon #133, and due to having awesome genetics, I can evolve into seven different pokemon. I'm also downright adorable. I am also a stuffed animal that Maggie bought at Nintendo World in the city for $9.99. If she bought me in France for the same price, but in Euros, I'd be $13.34. Sounds unfair, huh? Especially when you consider how expensive Starbucks coffee must be. In France's defense, there would be no tax charged to buy me :)
This is what I look like:
And this is Maggie's creative rendering of me with her new illustration markers:
I think I look quite nice. Even though my fur collar and tail tip aren't cream colored because Maggie used the wrong color by accident, I think she'll redeem herself with her next drawing of me. After all, I am her first real drawing with these new markers. Unless you consider the unfinished bee:
Now, many of you (the few who do read this) must be wondering: why the hell did she choose you? You're a pokemon. You're a children's toy. And, you're not even French. To address the first two concerns, I will refer you to Maggie's previous post, and remind you that she still enjoys the cuteness that pokemon represents from her childhood, and that she really doesn't care to be judged as childish. About me not being French, does it really matter that much? Would you rather I looked like this?
Geez, berets look so ridiculous. In the eternal words of Karen Walker: "Patty Hearst couldn't even pull one off, and she had money and a gun." I'd rather wear a striped shirt and mime everything.
There is one other reason that I was chosen. Recently, my owner has spent a lot of time looking at people's work on Deviantart studying for her exams, and I noticed a pattern. She's been really into min architectural models and crafts. Things like this:

Can you guess where this is going? Yes, you're right! A house for me! (I feel like Dora the Explorer).
The plan is to create a mini-room, or potentially even several, for me, using many things that Maggie will buy during her travels in Europe. I'm excited for the overpriced souvenirs. :)
With that, since I have nothing else (witty) to say, and I am looking forward to a wonderful weekend filled with Parisian and French fun, I bid you good night.
