There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.

Now, it takes no genius to notice that I basically do not post on my blog. It's not because I don't have the time (although sometimes that is the case), or because I don't do anything in Paris (well, that would just be a waste of time, wouldn't it?). The reason I don't post here is because the blog I wanted to write was not at all like me. It was dry, uninteresting, and consisted largely of just photo-montages. I like to write and tell stories; I like use random quotes and anecdotes about my day (ie. Today, I saw an advertisement where a fat lady was wearing fur underwear. WTF?) and nothing about my blog was that.

Therefore, this blog will be undergoing a bit of change. To make it more personal and more interesting, I decided that I would write each post more like a story (if the post is longer). Otherwise, they will just be small reflections on my daily life.

Another thing that will be changing, to added to more story-telling effect is, I will no longer be the "direct" concentration of this blog. I realized that another thing keeping me from writing here was that it felt very alien to document my every move. As someone who enjoys playing the role of the narrator, and is terrible at first-person prose, it made sense that any post I started with "Today I did this..." would feel awkward. So, I will now use my mini-stuffed animal Eevee (mhm, it is indeed a Pokemon) to explain my travels. Although I will still use the pronoun "I", it will not be my voice per se, and that will feel more natural. Yes, it sounds childish. Yes, it probably is. But for me, it will be much more fun and entertaining that way. And so, in my next post, I will introduce to you the new focus of this blog: Eevee.
